Haiz feeling worse today...Sore throat became flu...sian...i m feeling like i m in hell?!!ZZ Worse still it gets worse when i sleep and wake up... After sleeping the throat normally feels damn dry...and dat is DAMN PAIN when one have a sore throat...Got to go see a doctor later...Today totally no mood study sia...Feeling tooo sick...........Haiz hope i can get well soon...I need to get back to studying...........

Went to mac in the morning,den to sch as per normal...had phototaking at 930...den some ppl left home at 10.30, since they no more lessons...y did i take poa :(.....BUT SINCE I TOOK IT I SHALL MAKE MY FAIL TO AN DISTINCTION!!!!!!!NO POINT WASTING TWENTY BUCKS DROPPING IT!!!I WILL DO IT!!!

well...so many things happened today..and i dont know where to start...well lets start with cme...apparently mr lim was angry, and i dont know why, since i went back to the library to retrieve some stuff i left behind...and when i was back..i dont really know what happened...he was just angry..den went for mr lim encouragment talk??
1230pm soon arrived, and went to mac with tian, sheng and their classmates...and they sure like kop stuff eh...that time kfc kop cheese fries...this time at mac kop more fries...lol...so i kop some back from tian..went back for band and apparently...all instrument were brought home by the people to practise...an order by cliff...den tried to use tians prestige and his old clarinet...but both clarinet didnt work out for me...so i got jeremy to come to school to lend me mine...lol that sounded weird..i mean was mine that is...den practised with them..and mr yeo taught us some breathing skills..and like 3 new scales??since i requested??
400pm came very soon and we left for mj..took taxi with regret coz we were afraid we will be late...and so we were earliest...(which i regretted and should have never done..read on to find out later...)so we were like trying to memorise the scales mr yeo taught... den it came...there was a short interview..and the qns was like...'why do u want to join mj band???' and are u rdy to commit urself to long preactise hours??and he proceeded to describing the practises hours and days...and of course i had to answer yes to all...den some girl, apparently had to go for a concert, went first for the audition...and den i was next...

And the caps...were not there for fun...she was seriously pissed off at me and she was like scolding me....but wth la since when did they inform us to play 2 octave..they never did..and we never played 2 octaves at one go b4 during band...den yihan went in...but i dont understand how he managed to play...how the hell did he memorised his scales so fast??Den they asked me to go in again, after yihan came out, (den she told me that yihan was still living in the past=.-...wth did that meant??i was too nervous to think..and i figured later that he wrote the wrong date...=.=)......apparently..i think she found out we werent informed..and gave me a 2nd chance??or maybe something else??and den i went in and said i needed more time to practise and she gave it to me and den i became last to audition...
After that i was practising the 5 scales like hell...its like practise..memorise..and playing 5 scales within 1hr30mins..its hard..and with the nervous and tension..how..mr yeo only taught 3 of the 5...or rather we were asked to play only..not rly memorise...and stupid yihan...730 he pungsei me...why did he had to go when i needed so much support=.=selfish la... den 1by 1 the applicants went in and finished...and u all will be shocked by how well they can play=.=
A summary of those who went(rather the one i had more impression of):
There was this guy who came to talk to me after yihan left,cause i was alone... and he tried to help, after hearing i kena scolded for no reasons??lol kind man..but...guess what...HE WAS IN A GOLD WITH HONOUR BAND..WT...St patricks sec...and i found out something bout them...their clarinets..apparently were plentiful...and to get better clarinets..rather den progessing in lvls like us...they had to take tests every year to get better clarinets...and obviously only sec 4s could get prestige..and not only that..the tests were in fact..testing them if they knew how to play the many different scales...which was what we exactly needed to know..but didnt practise much of during band..and ya..i do suggest that u ppl adopt this system also??u ppl referring to nas band...its more of a rewards system yeh...and there was this guys who could play his flute so well...omg la...he is almost like a professional la...and many of them could play so well...seriously..sorry to say this..but they are so good..none of us from nas band can match up to them...they are seriously pro..thats y they go dsa sia...now i see why our band silver only...seriously u all should go see urself...den i kept on practising..and sway sway..i got some notes wrong...and den it dragged til 9plus..so i had to wait thaat long..i was practising until my teeth like going to drop..and i even i tot i was bleeding lol...and den my turn came..and i screwed it up...went in...i had to play 5 scales..wth..and i only got concert Bb right at the 1st time..I got concert Eb right after some time..and the rest were all wrong=.= concert C Concert Ab wrong..den i started shaking..lol..its like the nervous+tension+play wrongly+fear+alot of stuff..and it affected my playing more..den proceeded to sight reading..WTHWTHWTH..all damn high note...1st one was part of a warming up book i think..den one more was their syf choice piece??(the st pats guy mentioned to me)..and i screwed it up...it was nice..but i was shaking away...so i couldnt concentrate on the note..AND WORST..ITS FIRST CLARINET AND SOME NOTES WERE FREAKING HIGH!!So i i kept on playing wrong notes..since i am not familiar with 1st..(the fact i chose to be in 3rd caused me to be like that)...but i got starting..until she kept on stopping me later telling me to look carefully at the notes..BUT I WAS UNFAMILIAR WITH THE NOTES...HOW TO PLAY...ZZZ...time siganture:2/4 heng no sharps or flat..but i screwed it up...However my sound was good..i guessed.but i squeaked like 5 times..coz i was shaking away=.=den she asked me about my instru..whether it was mine or i loan it from sch...wonder why she asked that....
Notes to sec 3 who wises to try dsa next years or sec 2 next next yr: know ur scales well...not just concert Bb...practise them...and dont panic...and thasts about it...u all should practise ur scales more often...seriously..its good..stop wasting time on just concert Bb..practise as well...dont just mr yeo teach u all nv practise..and for clarinets..only 1st clarinets should go try...seriously..unless u know all ur notes well and very good at sight reading..sight reading is not=1 min to prepare..ITS STRAIGHT AWAY 1-3 SECS PLAY...thats damn hard and...proness if one can do it..haiz..hopefully they liked my sound...and if i m not mistaken..miss kwan(the one whom we asked our cca records from..)was in mj..as an alumni band member=.=

zzz...however fortunately...i have got an aem cert:) if i dont get in...maybe i will go try dpa lol...since i have decided to study biomed and its either in jc(that is i will take the course if i go to uni), or poly...

...y did mjc's office had to close at 5=.=...was going to hand in the dsa application form today and...wth...the office closed???alrdy???zzz...made a wasted trip...and according to the guy in charge...we had to hand in the form "prefably" by today...zzz y did sch had to end so late...how to make it by 5 to hand in, when lessons ended at 430...hopefully tomorow still can=.=...
1 more day to audition...and thanks teck yang for ur "kind" advice(if it was)in the morning...i will go attend the audition 1st and den if i make it(hopefully) den i will decide whether to accept the offer or reject the offer... so ya...
Ps:Do u all think an ipod touch or a psp is more worth the money???
Zhi hui: Yup i am trying new thing what:) trying dsa lol...joking...but since clarinet will help, just try lor.. i tot its hard to get into a new cca in jc? unless u do have past experience?? i tot jc only accepts the best only?unless i am wrong that is...

Sian, stupid oral, why must talk about inflation...gg la...i was asked all 3 qns...and mine lasted like the shortest la...jy talked like 10 mins plus for the conversation...how does he talk so much all the time???hope got oral retest sia...2 more days to audition...hope dont screw up:)
Things to prepare for the audition:
Generally you will have to know your scales, and a few pieces will be given for sight-reading.
Hopefully the sight reading pieces will be easy...

Zh:lol i tot u all very enthu about band de(girls in my section), so whats wrong with spending two more yrs in band??clarinet is fun:)

Lol heng just found out band dsa audi for mj on friday...should be attending it lol hopefully can get in...but so mafan sia...need to get cca records from ms ong...and must get back report book from mr lim so can photocopy...and must fill in this fill in that...then must bring own instru...wt...how to bring own one sia...its like one is worth 1k...i no money leh...???guess have to go for band on fri and borrow and practise...den go audi straight away...hopefully still can play well....

Woots!! My first blog!!! Lol ok that was lame ....anyway went for tapestry ytd...G8 performance guys! Well done!...too bad its over...:( There goes 10 dollars...bye bye....Heres a review of the performance: First up was band...heng nv missed it...we were like 2 min more to missing it la...heng...anyway silvercrest was ok den when it came to brs...clarinet starting like lao hong and wow u people sure play quite loudly at certain parts u shouldnt leh...however overall was g8 yeh...Den next performance by dance...liu jing was like owning the whole performance???anyway great dancing lol. Next up choir...Ikan kekek mak silui silui(forgive me if lyrics wrong) lol which is actually same tune as sunrise....den it was dance den intermission...and metta performance cancelled...wt...that is like $1 plus gone...lol... after intermission was guzheng den co...since i dont know much bout them i got no comments ya...den it was home at last...lol hitch a ride home from kelvin since it was raining.....SCH a place with so much memories....(Ngee Ann Secondary...SILVER...den ppl cried and cried and cried...and so on) lol and more stuff that happened on kelvins blog(since i went with him and he wrote pratically everything that happened) lol thats all for today...will not be posting anytime soon...bye bye
